I was always fond of the desert world of Abydos in Stargate and really wanted to do a rendition of Princess Sha're (or Sha'uri for all you die-hard Stargate - The Film supporters 
). I felt she had to be more of a warrior princess - and not an unimportant and rather helpless minor character like in SG-1.
