Kara's Quiz

Journal Entry: Tue Sep 15, 2009, 6:33 AM
  • Mood: Cheerful
  • Listening to: "Locomotive Breath" - Jethro Tull
I needed a time out from work and did this whacky quiz. I'm not entirely convinced that this was a good idea. :woohoo: Whoever wants to do this quiz – do it. The fun is all yours and I'm willing to share. :aww: I stole it myself from *vaporshi.

The Rules:
1. You must choose only ONE of your OCs.
2. Your OC must answer every question as truthfully as possible.
3. Title the journal as "OC's Quiz (your OC's name. Example: Kaiser's Quiz)".
4. When you're done, tag as many people as you want.
5. Have fun!!!

__________________________

1. Hi! What's your real name and nickname?
Cheerio. My name is Kara J. Downwright, doctor of astrophysics, my minor fields of study are mathematics and chemistry. I'm working for S.H.U.S.H., both as a scientist and secret agent – then I'm called "The Avian Avenger" to confuse everybody unnecessarily and give the newspapers something to write about.

2. Interesting... what's your current age?
My last birthday cake had a big 34 on it.

3. Uh huh. What's your favourite food?
Chocolate chip cookies when I'm in the USA, rock cakes when I'm in GB.

4. And your favourite drink?
Tea. Earl Grey. Hot. With milk.

5. Confession time! Who's your crush/lover?
Heavens above! That's a rather personal question, don't you think? Well, to be honest, I've always had a crush on Darkwing since he first bumped into my life on that school dance in high school. I wish my pal Drake could have seen him... Ham that bully threw the poor chap out of the gym before things got turbulent that night.

6. Aww! Have you two kissed yet?
Not really, he always gets quite tense when I try to make a move on him. Always babbles something about betraying me if he'd kiss me. Wonder why he keeps saving my bloody life then.

7. Classic question! What's your favourite colour?
Turquoise.

8. Who's your favourite author?
Joanna McFeathery. A lovely Scottish author! "The 1000 Aeon Journey" is a definite read.

9. Now what's your biggest fear?
There are many… but losing my friends would be right on top. I really hope my job isn't jeopardising their safety.

10. *stifles a giggle* I'm not laughing *bursts out laughing*
I really cannot fathom how my last comment can be the cause of such joviality. Shame on you, overall silly person.

11. Awesome. Who's your hero?
Take a peek at question no. 5 for an answer.

12. Ok, who is your worst enemy?
Negaduck. That fawning little git always pretends to be a friend and yet tries to kill me. How on earth does that work out? Granted, I accidentally blew up Nega-Kara – and good riddance to her! –, but does he still have to fuss about that little mishap?

13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?
Probably I'd do my best to keep them from mashing, smashing and trashing each other. They're quite good at that, you know.

14. Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?
What creator?!?

15. Okay, I'll contact them right now. Done! Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?
No, no, wait! What was that thing about a creator? Alright, never mind. I'll talk to you about that later, rest assured. Since I am already grown up, I guess there's nothing much I'd like to change about my life… except finding out who Darkwing is. He can't hide his identity from me forever, can he?

16. What's your worst nightmare?
My neighbour and former schoolmate Drake's attempt at Yorkshire puddings. He meant well, yet I prefer his jambalaya.

17. What's your lifelong dream?
Finally meeting the man behind the mask. I mean, how far away can he be?

(Poor Kara. You can't see the wood for the trees, dearie. :O_o:)

I'm a little snowed under with work and a wee bit flummoxed due to the sheer prospect of things to come, but no worries, I'm still around. :giggle: You won't get rid of me that easily! :ahoy:

For now I'm back to the offline world, trying to perfect my teleporting abilities. :boogie:

After a year of carefully observing my new homepage, I figured that a change of design on the gallery page was due. The result is exactly what I wanted for a long time. I'd gladly hear your opinions!

I'm still open for commissions. They might take some time now, but I try to finish them as quickly as I can. If you want to know about the what, when and why, click here.

Toodles! :)

Help a friend out!

A friend of mine, :iconsepsangel:, got into serious financial trouble due to a misunderstanding by customs authorities about a doujinshi she bought on eBay. She's desperately in need of money and offers commissions ($15) in order to get the money together she needs to pay the fine. Please, do something good for a lady who deserves it! Commissions, anyone?

Journal Entry: Wed Feb 4, 2009, 11:35 AM
  • Listening to: "Lumberjack Song" - Monty Python ;P

.::COMMISSION INFO::.

People kept asking me for pictures of e.g. fancharacters, so I decided to take commissions. For prices, send me a note with what you'd like to see in the picture and I can tell you how much it would be. I don't have a list of prices, for I didn't need one so far. However, if I sparked your interest in a commissioned artwork, let me know... :aww: Probably I'll come up with a price list when demand increases. ;)

The commissioning process works like this:
1) You give me a detailed description of what you want.
2) I send you a rough pre-sketch, which - in case you're happy with it - will be inked/coloured/cleaned up, etc.
3) After you transferred the money in euros (sorry, guys, PayPal only!) you'll receive the final version of your commission in high resolution via e-mail.

That's basically it. :boing:
